Each piece is handmade, copyrighted, signed, & dated. There is often a quote inscribed on the back of my work. The faces on every mask portray someone I love.I work with two varieties of stoneware clay, and a terracotta clay. Most work is fired, stained with manganese dioxide to bring out the detail, then refired before adding a wax or painted patina.Natural & dark stoneware finishes are weatherproof. Painted patinas have been lacquered and are weather resistant. Wax patinas are not weather resistant.
